Our Approach

MDoffice’s training and implementation team focuses on helping you make the transition from your current systems and learn MDoffice’s features and functions.

Using MDoffice is simple and straight-forward, and to make sure that you get a good grasp of using the system, we will teach you how to tailor it to fit your taste.

With MDoffice training, you learn at your own pace. We provide step-by-step documentation with fundamentals for beginners and tips and shortcuts for experienced users. In addition, we provide online help and courses covering the whole system or specific topics.

We will work with you to identify possible barriers to the workflow. We talk to the key individuals involved, we identify the technical requirements for the conversions and hardware that may be needed, then we work with you to come up with a plan that includes hardware placement, cable and internet access, and a time-line for training and implementation.

MDoffice will provide training, support, and troubleshooting services from the installation to the launch of your new system. We will also provide training programs for any new features as soon as they are deployed.

We provide you with training options. We conduct seminars both online and at regional locations. You can also opt for the “train-the-trainer” system wherein we train one of your people who, in turn, will train staff and colleagues. We also have a user forum where you can post questions and join discussions with other MDoffice users.

MDoffice makes sure that the transition from your current system to our software is as seamless as possible.

Our Technology

MDoffice uses Microsoft Windows and Microsoft SQL Server tools to support high volumes of transaction over multiple sites. The system uses Borland Delphi, Dot Net, ASP, Infopath and Crystal Reports on a Microsoft Windows Server platform. If your computers can run Windows, they can run MDoffice. To make sure, check out our system requirements.

Emerging technologies give you real-time integration of clinical, administrative and financial data. These technologies include HL7-XML messaging standards and multi-tier middleware so you can use the Internet to link physicians, facilities, patients and payers.

The industry-standard Windows design makes MDoffice easy to learn, easy to use, and economical to implement and support. You’ll have no problem integrating MDoffice with Microsoft Office for organizing documents, images or financial data, with Microsoft Outlook for sending and receiving e-mail, or with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer for using the internet. Result? You can integrate one system with popular Windows-based office software.

MDoffice complies with HIPAA regulations for data security. Database security features of integrated Microsoft SQL Server let you restrict unauthorized access with password log-in requirements, audit trails and other limitations. As a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider. MDoffice stays current with Microsoft’s latest advancements and requirements. Your software investments won’t get outdated.

MDoffice support will help you design your system before you complete any configuration. Our technicians are fully versed on Microsoft technologies and current network environments.

Product Development

We constantly work to improve the performance of MDoffice and to develop new products using our basic platform. We base our system on the latest Microsoft tools, so you can operate it simultaneously on standard desktop computers or less sophisticated and cheaper workstations using standard internet browsers.

HL7 (Health Level Seven)

HL7 is the industry standard for transferring data between healthcare systems. MDoffice is compatible with HL7, allowing you to use the system with medical records system not produced by MDoffice. A patient registered on an EMR can be registered simultaneously in MDoffice. You can use an HL7 format to transfer an MDoffice patient to an EMR system.

Back-End Operating System

Microsoft Windows Server—the best foundation for the new generation of web service business applications—is MDoffice’s back-end operating system. The Windows Server gives you high-performance file and print service at the same time it runs MDoffice. Windows Server helps our hardware engineers ensure that your system is easy to use, reliable, secure, and that you add to it to accommodate the growth of your facilities.

Microsoft SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server is a management system with a high-performance database designed specifically for applications like MDoffice. The powerful SQL replication of data lets you accurately disseminate files throughout your enterprise. An SQL database delivers high performance on current, cost-effective, standard hardware. MDoffice’s SQL server protects your files against network failure with central storage and secures your data by hiding files and encrypting them.

Microsoft Terminal Server

The Microsoft Terminal Server, an extension of Windows 2003 Server, uses terminal emulation to deliver Windows capabilities to diverse desktop hardware. The Terminal Server gives you the low cost of a centrally managed traditional mainframe with terminals, adding the familiarity, ease of use, and wide applications of Microsoft Windows.
