Ann is a member of the Practice Optimization Team. Prior to joining, Ann served as the Chief Compliance Officer for a consulting company with a primary focus on vision services. She previously worked for over 20 years at a western Wisconsin healthcare system, serving as the manager of Coding before accepting the Director of Patient Access role. She is certified in healthcare compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association and holds a variety of AAPC certifications including CPC, COPC, and COC. She has served as an officer on the AAPC National Advisory Board, is an approved coding instructor, and was on the committee who wrote the COPC exam and study guide.
